I retired from a public junior high school in April 2023. Finally, after spending the summer vacation, I have managed to sort out the personal items and documents I brought home from school.
Looking back, I have been involved in public education for over 30 years, and I have been dealing with various changes on the ground during this time.
As my life has settled down a bit and my second life has started, I was wondering what to do next when I noticed that the rental server I was using had a service to create a web page.
In the past, it was necessary to create web pages in HTML to disseminate information like this, but recent web pages, like SNS, have made it easy to disseminate information in the form of a blog. I thought I would take advantage of this feature and try to create a page to introduce the ‘avant-garde efforts in education using ICT’ that I have been working on at the site.
During my long teaching career, I noticed things that I thought ‘surely this will lead to the future’ and although I couldn’t make them ‘certain’ in my own workplace, I would like to write articles and introduce efforts where I saw ‘great potential’.
I would be delighted if I could be of even a little help to the younger generation of teachers who are carrying the future of education and continuing to fight every day.
